I stopped seeing a certain doctor in town when I saw an advertisement in the exam room for Gardisil. I quit another when she insisted I get an annual flu shot. But I am not most people, sadly. It's frustrating. When I worked in Pharma studies in the 90's (Prozac era), I learned that a pharmaceutical company would create drug studies for drugs they had no intention of selling just to give business to their study doctors to keep them occupied so they wouldn't work for another company. They were all bought, those study designers/runners.
I still have pads of prozac paper pads...
