Some call it "fecal transplantation," and others coined the name "fecal microbiota transplantation" (FMT). I have been learning about it, but the field seemed soft, almost diarrheal.
Great article. I've been telling people about fecal transplants since around 2007 when a friend of mine had terrible bloody stools and ended up in the hospital at least a dozen times. Unfortunately, he ignored my advice.
If I needed to reestablish my gut Microbiome I would start with a probiotic enema. Cheap and you can target organisms that you actually need.
Here is a step-by-step procedure for doing a probiotic enema, along with recommendations for probiotic formulas:
Probiotic Enema Procedure
1. Gather supplies:
- Enema bag or bucket with tubing
- Lubricant
- Towel
- Probiotic capsules or powder
- 12 ounces of filtered water
- Large bowl or cup
2. Prepare the probiotic solution:
- Pour 12 ounces of filtered water into a bowl
- Open 2-3 probiotic capsules and mix the contents into the water
- Let the mixture sit for 8 hours or overnight at room temperature[1][3]
3. Set up for the enema:
- Fill the enema bag with the probiotic solution
- Hang the bag about 18 inches above where you'll be lying down
- Lubricate the nozzle tip
4. Administer the enema:
- Lie on your left side with knees pulled to chest
- Gently insert the lubricated nozzle 2-3 inches into the rectum
- Slowly release the clamp to allow solution to flow in
- If you feel discomfort, stop the flow temporarily
5. Retain the solution:
- Try to hold the enema for 15-20 minutes if possible
- Relax and take deep breaths
- Release when you feel the urge[1][4]
Recommended Probiotic Formulas
Some effective probiotic strains for enema use include:
- Lactobacillus acidophilus
- Bifidobacterium bifidum
- Saccharomyces boulardii[3]
High-quality probiotic supplements recommended for enemas include:
- Ortho Biotic by Ortho Molecular Products
- PRObiotic 225 for intensive support[5]
When choosing a probiotic, look for:
- High number of colony-forming units (CFUs)
- Multiple strains of beneficial bacteria
- Powder or liquid form that can be easily mixed[3][5]
Always consult with a healthcare provider before trying probiotic enemas, especially if you have any digestive conditions. Start with a lower dose and increase gradually as tolerated. Proper hygiene and sterile equipment are essential for safety.
Awesome stuff! I am going to try it with a commercial saline enema bottle. Use the saline to clear the rectum. Then refill the bottle with the water with probiotic, and apply. Easy peasy. I can't hold a deep enema in anyways. What's to lose?
Thanks for sharing! Seems like adding eg inulin or other fermentable fiber either while it’s sitting in water (what is the purpose of this step, btw?) or along with the enema, would increase the bacterial numbers a lot.
Once i started consuming a lot of kefir and noticing the changes, i began reading Frontiers in Microbiology, starting with this article on how effective various probiotics are for IBD Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
(i didn't have that problem, but it was a super-informative article).
In fact i just started drinking kefir on a whim; i didn't think it would be much different than the yogurt i normally ate. Also, for me some kefirs caused my face to break out, others didn't, and i eventually settled on my favorite, organic whole milk Green Valley Kefir from northern CA. It is also lactose-free, but that's not why i chose it.
Very interesting and entertaining as always Robert, thanks. I guess with a bad Clostridium difficile infection or severe impaction, maybe the risks of fecal implant might make sense. But having experienced a truly dramatic health transformation in the last year from kefir, i would try that first. A year ago i started drinking about a quart a day of local organic commercial whole milk kefir. Mind you, i had been eating yogurt daily for decades, along with regular use of miso and kim chi. No contest. The kefir has been nothing short of amazing. Greatly improved digestion, gas and constipation eliminated, better sleep, calmer, and i think even improved cognition. The only potential downside for some might be weight gain - at least that was the case for me but it was a welcome change, since i had been way too thin for a couple of years (and on the low weight side since about 2010). Now i am back to my normal weight of 20 years ago, including increased muscle mass and strength.
Please note that Dr. Hazan's name has no "e" in it.
BTW, Cyrex offers immunological testing for the integrity of the blood-brain barrier and for leaky gut. It involves looking for antibodies to Zonulin, a substance that attacks the tight junctions of the intestinal wall.
Prior to 2022. I'd had ulcerative colitis for about 20 years. The meds offered caused me a lot of pain, so I discontinued use of 3 of them, one after the other. In 9/22, in response to a covid diagnosis, I took ivermectin, a steroid, and a few other meds.
The colitis symptoms vanished, and have not returned. I claim no cause and effect relationship, but I certainly wonder.
(FYI, I also took vitamins C, D, and a few other supplements, but I was taking those before the covid diagnosis.)
Carnivore diets are best for those who are more para-sympathetic dominant than those who are sympathetic dominant. Dr. William Donald Kelley did the most work on that field.
Ooh thats sounds interesting. I could not do a carnivore diet, so once again, we should always be thinking about individuality spectrum not one size fits all! God loves novelty, not sameness!
I watched Sabine in an interview, it was amazing, I learned so much. I now believe "covid" was the best thing to happen to us, because of it and the death jabs doctors like Dr William Makis have been helping cancer patients with Ivermectin and Fenbendazole along with other compounds. I would never have heard about bifidobacteria was it not for the death jabs. I think God had a hand in all of this, we just needed to find it. On a side note, I have not been jabbed, npc other jabs for 62 years.
Some observations after a year working as a colon hydro therapist: before we were told that we needed to consume hoards of probiotics and probiotic foods, sibo was virtually unheard of. Now, because we put so many Exogenous ‘healthy’ bacteria in our bodies, the micro biome can’t maintain equilibrium in most any circumstance. Many meds affect intestinal function. Eating prebiotic foods and cutting out most probiotics helps many though if you’ve been taking hoards of ‘good’ bacteria, there will surely be a difficult time of readjusting and allowing the body to find its way. Celery and apples are great for intestinal health (tho apples rarely taste like apples any longer) as are a long list of prebiotic foods. Adding these slowly can offset gas while bacteria is seeking its balance. It takes time to be restored to wellness. Rubbing castor oil over belly nightly can help with peristalsis. Jumping on a mini tramp is an incredible workout for large intestine and can stimulate peristalsis. Regarding critical instances of pathogenic overgrowth, I would think CD might be another tool for emergency use for those not wanting to go the route of fecal implants. Again, these are all observations and opinion rather than advice.
I know all about fecal transplants as mom who lived in the Autism world. It was sad that before Covid parents in the U.S. would travel to Mexico to meet up with a Canadian Dr doing this. I don’t like or trust Mexico so I never went. Now with the clot shots I would be hesitant to do this due to their vaccine status.
I have seen miracles with FMT. It had given ASD kids speech and more.
Thank you for your fascinating work. I was able to get my healed from ASD using anti parasitics( ivermectin) and stem cells.
Remember the old proverb "An apple a day keeps the doctor away!" Of course that was when apples were free of man-made poisons; now they probably kill the good bacteria and help land you in leaky gut land. Organic or bust!
Thanks for mentioning the book "House of God." I was in nursing school when it hit the shelves. I think the series "St. Elsewhere" was loosely based on it. For those in the field, it was not too far from the truth. In the book, there was a term they used for placing the bed height at hip fracture level to turf Gomers to Ortho. Dark humor kept us sane (I think....). It's not so funny given our current healthcare industry.
I'm always looking for ways to make a little extra money. Can you get paid to be a donor? Maybe I should advertise on ebay or temu. I wonder what the potential is for developing an aromatherapy spinoff?
Too funny! But knowing Dr Hazan personally.. she is always searching for the “ gold standard “ of poo and looking for more specimens for her research lab..Maybe you are the universal donor and don’t know it? 😂😂
I have actually looked into it and you basically have to be an Olympic athlete with perfect bowels and other criteria. However, these stool bank companies do not ask the question if you have ever been vaccinated for COVID, which seems ridiculous to me. I meant to write them to let them know, but didn't have the time.
I thought about just putting my poop in capsules (or directly in) for a sick loved one that cannot eat/swallow wrecked by months of antibiotics, is a blender really necessary? Good comments on here, I may start with probiotics first.
Curious as to the rejection rate of such transplants. And how would one even know if a specimen was "rejected"? I can't give it any more thought......!
Absurd. Doctors having studied chemistry-biology, learn the stool is a “snapshot” of a particular moment in a particular location, not a running story (pun) of a healthy gut By Any Stretch.

My 74 year old, very healthy, unvaccinated husband got C.diff after taking amoxicillin for root canal extraction. ER doctor diagnosed diverticulitis and missed doing a C.diff test. Gave him Augmentin, sent him home causing more misery. Second ER visit resulted in 10 days in hospital- halfway through they discovered C.diff. The meds only made it worse. He thought he was dying in the hospital..
Once home, he quit the meds and started on Chlorine Dioxide and by day 7, diarrhea was gone with normal formed stools. We think it's a miracle. He is on week 7 of CDS, as the infectious disease drs.put the fear of God in us saying reinfection is likely to occur within 75 days. Lots of hand washing and Clorox wiping down everything he touched. It's all about the spores that last for months on surfaces.
Gastroenterologist said medicare will only cover Fecal transplant after getting C.diff 3 times.
Otherwise, it's over $5,000. We live in California. FDA doesn't approve Fecal transplant, except for C.diff.
Any ideas when he can stop taking CDS? He is back to normal with energy and working out.

Maybe adding a bit of the home fermented sauerkraut juice? Hm.
Well why not? It’s not like I haven’t stuck stranger things I to my body. Kim Che up my nose was but one :-).
Couldn't hurt. Maybe some kimchi while at it. Kimchi reestablishes nasal microbiome and could probably do some good from the other end as well.

What are they - indoctrination or education?
Indoctrination is a limited form of education distinguished by a narrow curriculum and rote memorization.
You mean education like for instance when I spoke out demanding gold standard virus isolation for “Plandemic-19”? Education like when people were losing jobs over discussing concerns over vaxx? Education like university encouraged research into labeling and efficacy standards? I think I know what you’re not saying But I am flat out Not Buying Dictionary speak these days
McGuffey’s Eclectic Readers were the few cases of education not being indoctrination.
Tea Leaf reading is “indicative” “characteristic” “probabalistic” arcane as well
The Bristol Stool scale tells you everything needed to know about it.
