My neurologist is the one who put me on this regimen. I went back to him a couple months ago. He tapped my knees a couple times and when asked said there was nothing he could do. He even said there were no other medications or suggested I stop. Then charged me 100$.

Gabapentin is approved to prevent and control partial seizures, relieve postherpetic neuralgia after shingles and moderate-to-severe restless legs syndrome. I have not reviewed the studies, but they are likely paid for by the drug companies. I don't advise you what to do, only that if you can get off medications and exercise you may have better pain control. I believe over half of prescription drugs are useless or worse.
