Oral hormone replacement therapy is typically not enough. The deficiency syndrome is irritating and predisposes to infections up to and including life-threatening pyelonephritis.
There are seventy-six comments as of my writing this comment. I want to send my love to all my wonderful women readers, who have various degrees of sophistication. We are all on a learning curve.
My learning curve is about 2,000 hours. This includes 1,000 hours of nearly full-time work researching and writing Hormone Secrets, plus my clinical training and experience.
Let me explain my intellectual slant on all this so you will understand where I am coming from. It is my firm belief, based on my studies and experience, that:
1. Hormones are purposely suppressed by nefarious sources to damage the populace and make us weaker.
2. They are tremendously beneficial and reduce all-cause mortality dramatically.
3. Many diseases of aging are reduced or altogether eliminated by properly dosed hormone therapy. An example of this, a glaring example of this, is hip fractures in women. Half of the women who sustained a hip fracture after menopause are dead within a year, and this problem is almost eliminated by hormone therapy.
4. I understand the distrust everyone here has for Big Pharma and Standard Medical Care. I hate it all myself; however, you must understand also that hormone therapy is perpetrated in its modern form by a group of renegades who use bio-identical hormones. These are made by compounding pharmacies that are somewhat outside the tentacles of Big Pharma.
5. Gynecologic and obstetric care is tremendously corrupt, and this has been examined in detail by a Substack commentator who calls himself Unbekoming.
I am currently in the process of rewriting Hormone Secrets and will offer the PDF to my readers here free. To obtain a free copy of the current version, which is excellent but incomplete, click here. https://dl.bookfunnel.com/p7dvqow83g

obviously you're not a woman, James. many of us absolutely do not want or need any of their risky pharmaceutical interventions. that includes their plan to put us on their so-called "beneficial" hormone drugs for the rest of our lives. those of us who were already compliant with big pHarma got a big wake-up call during the covid scam. and many of us have been avoiding sketchy pharma-medical interventions for decades.
I had a hysterectomy due to uterine fibroids growing under a large artery when I was in my 30's. I declined estrogen therapy and made it ten years before things went wrong. I was given estrogel which is estradiol by a 70 year old gynecologist who gave it to his m om and she lived to 98. I am in my 60's and have aged very well because of it. I didn't start having vaginal issues and urinary urgency until my family doctor reduced the amount by half. I felt punished by the medical community for that.
Karen - maybe if they still aren't providing you with enough estrogel, you could try oral boron capsules - they usually come in 3mg pills. very safe, scientifically determined to raise estradiol (probably other parts of the hormone suite too). it definitely does that and also alleviates arthritis, is anti-depressive and strengthens bones.
inexpensive too. i don't know how it would substitute for a topical gel (since it would have to work systemically) but it's probably worth a try.
I take 6mg of boron, open the capsule in my morning drink of water and electrolytes. Should I take more? I was taking it for my bones and I knew that it had something to do with estrogen and was trying to help that too.
I take astaxanthin too, also helps with estrogen, my heart and my eyes and was also part of my cancer protocol to protect against renal carcinoma as a bladder surgery for cancer closed the ureter to one kidney.
I no longer tell the truth to my doctor unless something happens and I don't know what it is. I'm going to sound crazy for saying this, but had a heart CT with two strong contrast dyes and three weeks later something happened to my bladder. I don't do well with contrast dye on a good day, I still think they were polyps but they terrified me into surgery.
Now I research everything they try to do. I go to a new hospital and they use ultrasound for me and it works well. I wish I could have a new family physician, but we don't get to choose those either.
Karen - i am no authority but do a lot of research. Rex Newnham was the Australian soil scientist who figured out the arthritis-boron connection and spread the word. He traveled the world, testing soils for boron and noting the connection between low soil boron and arthritis.
He thought 6 to 8 mg elemental boron daily was sufficient to prevent arthritis, and that "those with active disease are helped with 9 to 10 mg a day". (He also noted many other benefits of sufficient boron intake, including bone health, increased sex hormones and improved fertility.)
i think the dose depends on one's size and also perhaps other factors like how well your body absorbs it. you might try adding another 3 mg and see how it goes. overdose symptoms might be excessive libido or even slightly manic symptoms (perhaps due to too much of a good thing since it is definitely a mood-lifter).
regarding your doctor situation, i am wondering if you are in Canada. i would not be surprised if the CT contrast dyes affected your bladder; as you probably know one of the dyes they use in CT scans is radioactive iodine.
Yes, I'm in Canada. Also had reaction to contrast dyes in 2021 post vaccine, one of the hospitals said that was now common, hospitals sometimes gave me Benadryl /prednisone which may or may not be a good thing, mostly they just push you into it as they don't want the extra work as they didn't read my file to plan for it other than the moments before the procedure.
It wasn't until I started having problems and couldn't get help that I got better research avenues, but I have found if I can't do one thing they have equally bad not better options. I have had much radiation and contrast dye, is it radioactive if it gives you heat? If so all my CT's had that and some nephrostomy insertions.
In the last 18 months more than a dozen CT's. My nephrostomy insertions used x rays to visualize, and gadolinium, my surgeries used radiation to see my kidney, streamed for 2 minutes at a time. For all interventions the surgical teams were fully covered in guards or shields and some type of clothing.
I know I'm in big trouble but posts like Dr. Yoho's can go a long way to making things better. I can beg my urologist for help as he seemed to think a vaginal hysterectomy was a flag for bladder cancer, now I have this knowledge to tell him. I also have 3mg tabs of boron. I believe I have taken 9mg previously, so I will be ok. Libido side effect is good though. :D
Did you know that radiation is a biproduct/waste from nuclear energy? Instead of storing it for life they can disperse it among the population as x ray, CT's, radiation therapy. I learned that not too long ago.
I haven't even read the article yet (and I will) but I take objection already to the use of the word "universal" in the title. there is no case for universal anything. I'll be 73 in July. I've never had a mammogram or a colonoscopy. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen an OB/GYN. menopause was a non-event for me. i never had a hot flash or vaginal dryness or any of the other symptoms I've only heard about. my mother didn't either- at least until doctors put her on prednisone for something else and caused "medically induced osteoporosis" (a quote from her chart).
sure, a conventional doctor tried to shame me into taking bisphosphonates after I broke a few bones when I was thrown 10 ft off my bike (hit by a texting driver) and landed on hard pavement but I ignored him. I do strength training exercises and work outside in my garden, digging holes and carrying dirt. I drink raw milk and only see alternative doctors when I feel the need for a high dose vitamin infusion or an acupuncture treatment. since i only go to doctors who don't take insurance, I save the tax payers money on my medicare. if the government cuts medicare, so we can keep having endless wars, I'll drop it entirely.
maybe we should spend time figuring out why some women have problems aging. symptom relief is important but not as important as finding out why so many people are so sick.
You are a woman after my own heart! I turned 74 last month. I did not catch on to the horrors of the industrial medical complex until I was abused by them. I will never again see an allopathic general practitioner. I pray that others come to the realization that our “medical system” is broken, before they are so harmed by it, that it’s irreversible.
Not all doctors are "evil". The professional associations, government "health" agencies, licensing bureaus, Big Pharma and Big Insurance are the EVIL ONES! If you remember correctly, many physicians were threatened, had their medical licenses removed, not allowed to have "admitting" privileges, and other PUNISHMENTS for NOT wanting to adhere to the ridiculous "guidance" of CDC and EVIL Fauci. These threats did prevent physicians from continuing to voice their concerns re: untested Covid-19 shot, as they, like rest of U.S. responsible citizens, have mortgages and other bills to pay, and their LIVELIHOOD was threatened. What needs to be done is YOU citizens need to BOMBARD your Senators and Representatives with DEMANDS for true justice: arrest all those bureaucrats, including Fauci, for breaking the law; for "crimes against humanity". Those of you who are not U.S. citizens ought to have International Charges brought against Fauci, as our corrupt, EVIL democrat administration, under Biden the Demented, has given Fauci "pardon"... Let's try to cut the heads off these monsters.
Just the so-called thyroid treatment women receive is a horror. Conventional docs don’t run full thyroid panels, focus too much on TSH and just Rx T4, which is useless in a huge amount of women who can’t synthesize T4 into T3. T3 being the only active thyroid hormone. I have resorted to ordering Cytomel from Mexico and a peptide version from here. I read the horror stories of incomplete treatment all over. 20 years on Synthroid and getting NO relief but feeling worse and docs telling women it’s all in their heads or get more exercise. T3 requires monitoring to find the correct dose of T3, but they don’t want to do it. I’m sure there is no billing codes for that.
I have approached the endocrinologist to whom I have been going about testing more fully my thyroid function, suggesting that I might need T2. She just ignores my concerns, saying " well, with your heart condition, I don't think that's a good idea." I do not agree and am trying to find a physician who at least will investigate alternatives. I don't think I should feel as tired as I do IF Synthroid really "works".
Amen. I’m with you. 63 years young and sailed through it all mostly. I won’t go to a Dr either. I try to figure it all out myself! And, figure out how to treat things naturally. With the info and comments in these sub stacks and YouTube videos, there’s tons of anecdotal evidence that we can sink our teeth into. I hate our current system of not healthcare but sick care. They’re all in on it. I read a book on longevity and it said if you want to live a long life, stay far away from Drs!!
These people who get a steroid shot for everything are insane! That is the worst thing you can do to help yourself. People have got to wake up and starve this sick machine.
Do you follow “A Midwestern Doctor” on Substack. I assume you have read Robert Yoho MD (ret) book “Butchered by Healthcare” (https://a.co/d/0fhyWEYv). I’ve been researching this for nearly seven years. So much to learn
I do read him/her (I heard once that the doctor was a woman, but I have no idea if that's true or not). there is SOOOO much to read these days. I haven't read Dr Yoho's book but it sounds like it's right up my alley. I'll look for it. thanks
i used to think so too - but found out he's a man. i think he may sound like a woman (to us) at times, particularly when he discusses some of his interactions with men - because he's probably gay.
No. It’s a she. It was confirmed in the weird fracas Dr Makis has spawned in the alternative cancer treatment sphere. He went after AMD and other doctors.
After reading Dr Yoho’s book, I reached out to him personally. I brought the dangers of mercury to his attention. He had 13 amalgam fillings at that time. As a result, he wrote “Judas Dentistry”, and he wrote that I brought the issue to his attention. He has good intentions, although I don’t always agree with everything he does.

Totally agree carolyn. Not only is there no case for the benefit of "universal" anything (except maybe water), these hormonal drugs in whatever form can be harmful for many women. You would think at this point that health-aware people would be skeptical of all of pharma's potions and poisons. Although i appreciate many of Dr Y's posts, i wish he would stop trying to brainwash all women over 50 that their God-given bodies are defective and in need of pharmaceutical intervention for the rest of their lives.
My prescription says “Bi-E/PENT/PRO/TES 8/40/80/8 MG/GM CREAM”.
I originally got this prescription from an integrative medicine physician who specialized in thyroid issues/aging and Bio-Identical HRT for men and women. I have been on this same dose for many years now.
But I have found that many ‘physicians’ don’t know how to prescribe these Bio Identical HRT’s. One younger female physician wanted to send me to an endocrinologist to renew my prescription! I changed back to my NP who knows how to prescribe the Bio Identical HRT.
I have a prescription for mine. It has estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. That is why I believe I have to have a prescription because of the testosterone. At least in CA.
Sounds like drama,,,60 soon, never added hormones and never will. Put some organic coconut oil up there every day in the shower is a game changer and has taken care of any dry feeling.
They start pushing their hormone shit on women early like late 30's,,,just for profit.
Just like when pHARMA needed to sell fosamax they created the radiation emitting dexa scan and scared the crap out of so many women telling them they had osteoporosis or osteopenia but the good news isuppossedly was “we have a drug to help you.” Yes, jaw bone death or osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ), is one of the more serious known side effects of bisphosphonate drugs like Fosamax (alendronate), Boniva, and Actonel but don’t you worry because we’re helping your bone loss issues. Screw them.
I am right there with you, Butterfly! I literally had an endocrinologist agree with me on why I refused (and continue to refuse) “bone building” drugs. 1. The Dexa scan looks at the matrix of the bone…not the STRENGTH of the bone. ”He said, and I quote, “that is true, but it’s the best test we have.” 2. Bisphosphonates actually weaken bones the longer one takes them. He said, and I quote, “this is true.” My GYN is not happy with me for refusing the drugs. But it’s all good. My body…my choice. I did my research years ago, and continue to educate myself to this day. 66yo & still going strong. Zero RX’s. I do take supplements. Lots of energy & strength. Now, I must close with this…every night before bed I say, “thank you, Lord, for all that my mind and body can do.” For I know at any given moment this good health I’ve been blessed with can turn on a dime. I do not take it for granted. I give God all the glory🙏🏼❤️
Prolia is a horror too. Nobody should take it. Ever. I was diagnosed in the 90s with osteopenia by just a hinky ankle scan. I never took anything like those drugs though. I don’t get dexa scans either anymore. My sister took Boniva. Destroyed her jaw leading to tooth then body infections. Then cancer. She finally died after her first Covid jab. Within 3 weeks of getting it. I have a functional med doc who is pushing HRT. I have an appointment in 3 weeks and will ask about HRT, but now I have lots of info from Dr Yoho to make an informed choice.
I have information on over-the-counter medications to improve osteoporosis in hormone deficiencies. One of these is a prescription in Japan, but over the counter in the United States.
I sailed through peri and menopause beautifully. Then, had the dryness around 60 years of age. I’m now 63. So, I’m a bit late to jump on the hormone bandwagon wagon plus I don’t want to put anything in my body made by an industry (pharma) that has paid more in legal fees than any other industry except the financial industry. I might consider it for bone loss if doing other things doesn’t help. One thing not mentioned is that women in the WHI study who took hormones were more likely to develop Alzheimer’s and Dementia especially if they started them five years post menopause. So, that should be a consideration. Women should google this or AI it. So, there’s that to consider for myself.
I did happen to find an alternative if as a female you are suffering only with vaginal dryness. It’s called VRS; vaginal rejuvenation System by AnteAge. By the way, I don’t work for this company and I’m not invested in it in anyway. It is expensive as well, ($150/ for a starter pack then $150 for a 1.5 mo supply) but I can get it on Fullscript with a Dr discount. It has stem cells that work to repair vaginal atrophy but especially dryness. It’s a miracle to me. I’ve also read there are other companies that will do injections of stem cells for this same thing.
Anyway, until more research is done showing no issues with future neurological problems, I will stay away from this. It is a personal decision for everyone.
I truly appreciate Dr Yoho writing about this because I asked him about this last week specifically as it relates to the relationship between taking estrogen and how it builds bone! Again, I’m the sort who will do the work to create healthy change in my body (speaking about building bones to reverse osteopenia by strength training, limiting alcohol and supplementing with what the Japanese use to treat this disease which is Vitamin K2, specifically MK4) rather than resort to a pill or getting on estrogen.
But, this is a great refresher and I appreciate the deep dive. I may consider in future if I can’t reverse my osteopenia.
Read hormone secrets to find over-the-counter treatments for osteoporosis. If you get a PDF copy, you can word search it for that. You should also use the hormones which help reverse osteoporosis, especially testosterone.
Boron definitely boosts estrogen, alleviates arthritis and reportedly improves bones - without the bad side effects of big pharma's stuff. (they tried to outlaw boron sales in some areas and apparently did in australia - i think it's restricted in uk and/or some of the eurozone too) of course pharma doesn't want the competition.
butterfly - glad you mentioned Vit K2 specifically MK4 - SO important that it be MK4 for actual absorption, but most people don't know this and are taking the MK7 form (even Mercola's supplements have it as do many others).
I do too. I found a good brand with 5000 iu of Vit D3 added. (An extra 5000 in winter) I had my blood tests last week. My D3 was 80. Coming off winter in northern Illinois, that’s good enough for me. I’m out in the sun a good deal of time now. I drop the extra 5000 in summer. I may up my K2-M4.
great. i avoid pills (except a little magnesium) so i just make sure i get some grass-fed (not just pasture-raised) kefir for K2-MK4 and am out in the sun a lot. i quit getting blood tests since i prefer to avoid the "healthcare" system entirely and don't like to give away my genetic blueprint. i also wonder what else they do with the blood . . .
Ya , I have a pump dispenser in my shower of organic coconut oil and about half avacado oil. I clean my whole body with it and rinse well,,, never put soap on your vagina or butt hole,,, you'll mess up the ph, irritate everything worse than our poor menopausal bodies can take and then you'll start trying big pharma junk like hormone therapy
How do you use the coconut oil if the good type is a solid until heated? . I have the refined coconut oil which stays liquid. I also only use Dr Bronners soap. Castile soap I believe.
I was the same…sailed through peri & menopause with only a very rare & mild hot flash. Had last cycle the month I turned 47. I felt so much better actually. My cycles were 7 days long, showed up like clockwork every 26 days, and terrible cramping first 2 days 😩 Needless to say I was thrilled to have that in my rear view mirror!
No problems in the land down under until about 53yo. The dryness & atrophy began to rear its ugly head. I recalled my OB telling me years before, when I was nursing my last baby & complained of issues, that I was experiencing post-menopausal vagina. And added, “this is what you have to look forward to.” I was horrified to say the least.
Never wanting to take HRT I did suffer with the problem for a year UNTIL I happened to read about a vaginal laser procedure, the Mona Lisa Touch, precisely to treat what I was experiencing, including stress incontinence (although it couldn’t be marketed for it since it wasn’t FDA approved for that. Go figure. It may be by now? ) It also helps eliminate or lessen UTI’s (thankfully I’ve never had that problem), but again, no FDA approval to treat that, so no marketing for it allowed.
I did research and talked to my GYN about it who told me, “oh, I don’t know about that. I would be hesitant to do it.” So, I continued to keep my eye on it with high hopes. Another year went by when I learned a group of urologists in my city had begun offering the treatment. I immediately made an appt for a consultation. I was sold on it within minutes, asked if I could have first session (of 3) right then. Got it done that day, and did the other 2 sessions over the next 8 weeks. I am here to tell you it was a miracle. I ended up being their patient spokesperson for several seminars they hosted for educational awareness. I’ve gotten several “touch ups”, which is usually 1 treatment if no longer then 12 mos between. The cost for the initial 3 treatments was $2700 the first time, but a year ago they decreased it to $1500, with a touch up at $500. Downtime is zero. It’s been referred to as a lunch break procedure. Pain level the very first time was maybe a 4, but it lessens with ea session. It’s certainly worth pushing through. Only takes like 5 mins max from start to finish. Sadly insurance doesn’t cover it. We need to petition for it to be! Btw, MLT has been approved & used in the UK for years. It started out as treatment for women who’ve had medically induced menopause due to cancer & can’t use HRT. When they saw how well it worked they began using it for aging women issues and got great results. USA had recently approved it when I first learned about it.
To circle back to my GYN…
I didn’t tell her at my next annual ckup that I’d had it done prior to the exam. She never once said anything about vaginal atrophy…which she always had on previous post-meno exams. (Note: I had no pain during the exam…unlike before.) When I asked, “how’s the ole girl looking?”, she replied, “actually good”. That’s when I told her I’d had the MLT and how thrilled I was with the results. She looked quite surprised & told me her colleague had it done & was well pleased with it too. The next year she let me know her group was offering the Diva, another vaginal laser treatment. I read about it, but have chosen to stay with the MLT.
I have used topical Estrace since having the MLT because the exterior parts need plumping up from time to time. I use the fingertip application w/ “pencil eraser size” amount, per my GYN’s instruction. I don’t continuously use it, only when needed will I do a course…2 weeks every night, then 3x/week for a few weeks. Stop, then do it again maybe 4 months later.
Sorry so long, but hopefully this info helps others.
I am 55 years old and have been using BHRT via implantation of pellets (3-4 times a year) for the last 4 years. I have estrogen and testosterone pellets implanted and take an oral progesterone. It has been life-changing. I wish I had known about it sooner. Dr. Greg Brannon (who has sadly passed) has written a couple of books on the subject.
There is more information about this in Hormone Secrets. Testosterone pellets can be used as a monotherapy. It is a hassle, and you can use testosterone cream and oral estrogen and progesterone as a preferable alternative.
Would topical estrogen help men with lichen sclerosis? Steroids have noticeably thinned the skin and created less sensitivity as well. But more permeability. Use of synthetic lubricants creates significant burning immediately while natural lubes like coconut oil do not.
I’m 78. No problems like described. I never took hormones except pills for a few years. That’s my only annoyance other than When I have to go—I have to go. 😊. I have a functional med doc and she has been pushing HRT. I have an appointment in 3 weeks so I may ask INFORMED questions about HRT. Thanks, Dr. Yoho. Very valuable info. She uses compounding pharmacies. I get compounded LDN for hashimotos from her.
Low Dose Naltrexone lowers hashimotos antibodies. Plus it is used for many other conditions, even cancer. I feel pretty stable using it. There are websites and a LDN organization website. It improves immune responses.
Hashimotos was diagnosed by my functional med doc who I sought out because I wanted to stay out of conventional doctors during Covid. No other doc had found it. Conventional medicine is a huge disappointment in the thyroid space. Women suffer for years from incomplete or neglected treatment. The LDN research areas may have practitioners they can list.
I've done very well doing vaginal steaming with organic herbal formulas. It has kept my hormones balanced and I don't experience hot flashes, night sweats, or vaginal dryness. Steaming actually helps me to stay naturally moist as I was when younger. I'm very thankful to know about this practice.
Good for you, but hormone replacement therapy has many virtues, including reducing the risk of osteoporosis and hip fractures. Considering this information again when I post soon about it is a reasonable consideration for you.
How does Testosterone replacement fit into all this? I thought the body makes all the estrogen it needs out of testosterone via aromatase. I would be very leery about estrogen supplementation, as both my mom and grandma had breast cancer. Test injections have been a game changer in terms of libido, mental health, sleep, strength, self esteem, and confidence. I would be worried estrogen would make my boobs more flabby and give me thigh fat...
Hormone Secrets is a worthwhile read for you. Testosterone has been used as a sole agent in menopause, but it's not quite as good as taking estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.
Do you think it's possible that this could be a cause of bladder cancer? I had a vaginal hysterectomy 30 years ago. The trigone area is usually the area affected for bladder cancer. I have just gone through this but also now suffer many of these symptoms. I also didn't know pyelonephritis was life threatening. I had that infection but because I had a nephrostomy tube and a nosocomial infection from tube exchange. I was given so much ciprofloxacin that I think it hurt me.
This is important: Read the pyelonephritis article and take some of the prophylactic medicines for urinary infections. The other thing about a vaginal hysterectomy is that women are castrated during the process in most cases, so replacement hormones are tremendously helpful.
Thank you so much! I live in Canada and cannot access estradiol without a doctors prescription. My family doctor is very angry that I chose to have Dr. Makis make me a cancer protocol. The protocol was good, though he didn't back it with the care I paid for., I did not want the BCG therapy after bad covid vaccine.
I have methylene blue from the vaccine injury about 5 years ago, it's powder in vials so I can use that. I have the stuff for Chlorine Dioxide but never got to try it.
Will a urologist see the dye during a cystoscopy? I understand Vit C can change that, but will it change it in the bladder?
When I was in the ER with possible kidney infection, would that be the reason they took blood, then came back two hours later and had two nurses each take blood from a different arm? I got three leaky heart valves from Astrazeneca and was not told. Was having trouble with very low blood pressure with some of the infections. My diastolic/bottom number causing me the worst effects I think. Was still having it after the tube was out. I don't have cancer, it's a long story over a system that is hurting an awful lot of people. Doctors here have permission to do anything they deem during surgeries and treatments, and they don't tell you they did it. My doctor was very angry that nurses told me about my heart.
To make long story short, I got a new urologist and he explained that I was getting antibiotic resistant infections because they grew a bio film because they lived in hospital settings. So I started self treating based on internet searches, he let me take colloidal silver up to the surgeries but had to stop oregano oil and blackseed oil two weeks before. After each surgery I could take them again. I kept getting that chills thing happening a few times a day but I did not get high fevers, in fact, my temp was a little lower than normal.
In the end, I did not want to go spend another 12-16 hours in the ER to have more cipro so I started to improve by mixing grapefruit seed extract with two drops of P73 Oregano oil morning and evening along with colloidal silver, but also took blackseed oil capsule with oregano oil capsule with my food. Added probiotics to that because of all the cipro and sulfatrim. The usual important vitamins as well, but really had to keep that on the low down so I didn't make my doctor any more angry.
Still having trouble with iron and RBC's and a few things on blood work but it's improving by eating liver. I think Cipro did that, as some research I came across said it can 'depress' your bone marrow.
Thank you for your help, I am going to try and read everything you wrote. Also the subscibe button doesn't let me add an address to it, it says I am subcribed as I have an ER doctor, retired, who thinks I'm a little nuts self treating, he might learn something. I wrote a book, sorry.

(He also noted many other benefits of sufficient boron intake, including bone health, increased sex hormones and improved fertility.)
i think the dose depends on one's size and also perhaps other factors like how well your body absorbs it. you might try adding another 3 mg and see how it goes. overdose symptoms might be excessive libido or even slightly manic symptoms (perhaps due to too much of a good thing since it is definitely a mood-lifter).
regarding your doctor situation, i am wondering if you are in Canada. i would not be surprised if the CT contrast dyes affected your bladder; as you probably know one of the dyes they use in CT scans is radioactive iodine.
i am wishing all the best for your health.
Amen!!
Amen sister. They are evil. EVIL I say.
How does one order cytomel from Mexico?
I'll look for it. thanks
AMD is a woman. It was confirmed in the weird fracas Dr Makis has spawned in the cancer sphere.
yes, I had heard that. I don't remember where
interesting - do you have a link?
A Midwestern Doctor is a woman. She is making it easier to detect in her current writings.
Hahaha!
i used to think so too - but found out he's a man. i think he may sound like a woman (to us) at times, particularly when he discusses some of his interactions with men - because he's probably gay.
No. It’s a she. It was confirmed in the weird fracas Dr Makis has spawned in the alternative cancer treatment sphere. He went after AMD and other doctors.
I know someone who has had dinner with HER!
After reading Dr Yoho’s book, I reached out to him personally. I brought the dangers of mercury to his attention. He had 13 amalgam fillings at that time. As a result, he wrote “Judas Dentistry”, and he wrote that I brought the issue to his attention. He has good intentions, although I don’t always agree with everything he does.
wow! that's great!! you taught him something that probably helped him
all true and thanks, Deb.

A kindred spirit!
I have been on Bio Identical HRT therapy (cream) made by a compounding pharmacy for over 20 years.
I would never stop using it. I pay $50, delivered to me via mail. My supply lasts a couple of months.
The compounding pharmacy I use in San Diego is Good Pharma Compounding Pharmacy.
https://www.goodpharma.com/
Oh and I pay out of pocket for my BioIdentical HRT. My insurance doesn’t cover this prescription. But it’s worth every dollar I pay for it!
Do you need an Rx for it?
You don't need a prescription if you are knowledgeable, and I have an upcoming post about this.
You don’t need a prescription for bio-identical hormones?? Do tell!
Screw them.
I watched my parents walk around with a bag of pills and got all the shots in their last days and I am saying no thank you. Neither made it to 80.
I'm still running, eating 5 pieces of fruit a day and taking ivermectin when I feel a virus 😁
I’d like to know more about this, Dr Yoho. Have you posted the info & I’ve overlooked it? If not? How may I obtain this info?
agreed.
I’m using Borox. 1/8 teaspoon a day. Along with magnesium.
I may up my K2-M4.
great. i avoid pills (except a little magnesium) so i just make sure i get some grass-fed (not just pasture-raised) kefir for K2-MK4 and am out in the sun a lot. i quit getting blood tests since i prefer to avoid the "healthcare" system entirely and don't like to give away my genetic blueprint. i also wonder what else they do with the blood . . .
Oh very interesting!!! I never thought about that!
I’ve taken InnovixLabs K2 for years when I started taking VitD3. It contains 500 mcg MK-4, and 100 mcg MK-7. Love it.
Put the organic coconut oil up there every day, it's wonderful,,,and if I skip it boy can I tell.
How much, and do you just use fingers to apply?
Ya , I have a pump dispenser in my shower of organic coconut oil and about half avacado oil. I clean my whole body with it and rinse well,,, never put soap on your vagina or butt hole,,, you'll mess up the ph, irritate everything worse than our poor menopausal bodies can take and then you'll start trying big pharma junk like hormone therapy
How do you use the coconut oil if the good type is a solid until heated? . I have the refined coconut oil which stays liquid. I also only use Dr Bronners soap. Castile soap I believe.
I’ve used coconut oil at times. Works rather well.
Me again 😊
Thank you! I will look into it!!
I choose D.
On behalf of all old gen Xers and above, thank you for the great info. I like your personal comments added in.
How did civilization survive before the drug trust.
Guess the body knew how to create health in other ways.
and still does.
Would topical estrogen help men with lichen sclerosis? Steroids have noticeably thinned the skin and created less sensitivity as well. But more permeability. Use of synthetic lubricants creates significant burning immediately while natural lubes like coconut oil do not.
How did civilization survive before ED disorder?
Would not be heard but I don't know whether it'll help.
Janet ,how does LDN help hashimotos ? serious question .I have that to and cannot tolerate any thyroid meds .
Low Dose Naltrexone lowers hashimotos antibodies. Plus it is used for many other conditions, even cancer. I feel pretty stable using it. There are websites and a LDN organization website. It improves immune responses.
Here is a recent info packet https://ldnresearchtrust.org/sites/default/files/2026-03/2026_Patient_Guide.pdf There are other places online. You have to find a doc who uses compounding pharmacies. Might be a Telemedicine site.
Janet ,thank you . I have LDN . I did not know I could take that for thyroid . Yes big pHARMa doc's are a disappointment . Thanks for the links .
The package insert instructions and warnings for the vaginal insert estradiol pill mentoined cancer too many times; I chose not to take them.
Estradiol does not cause cancer, but it is confused with the synthetics that do cause cancer and the horse urine estrogen.
https://www.drugs.com/pro/estradiol.html#s-34084-4
Thank you! I will have to check it out.
I prefer your voice. Every one else I "read" uses AI narrators. Yours is a favorite partly because of your voice.
I hit the wrong button on that one. Sorry.
