There are so many moving parts in the “transgender” movement. I do not denigrate anyone who has to deal with this issue. What I do see is [big Pharma] jumping in to steal and Hoover as much as [They] can.
To me there is a spiritual solution to most of the ails of this life. One is missing something and to connect within for some is all which is required. For others, it maybe to go the [Big Pharma] route.
What I see happening is those who are trans do not fit in or are the powerful men taking over from the women athletes who try to go the distance.
As they go this direction, they also incur huge costs, so they then need to find ways to pay [big Pharma]. You can see it in athletes like the Williams sisters, who get all the money at the top, so they can pay the [Big Pharma] people. On top of this, there is no money left to pay the real females who train oh so hard, just to be side lined.
It is like training a robot to take over one’s job. Soon there is no purpose for you. Enhancements like glasses are one thing, but making men women, so women can just be sidelined again. What is the purpose in this?

The California legislature last week approved SB 107, which designates the state a "safe haven" for so-called "gender-affirming" medical procedures on children. Transgender is a mental health issue. ... And a fad -- with physicians cashing in. Well, that was interesting to hear the surgeon's point of view about the transgender industry that he is engaged in. I started hearing about this subject a few years ago when my sister's stepdaughter started helping her three daughters to transfer themselves to be male. It was shocking to me. I was considered a Tom Boy when I was a young girl because I grew up on a farm doing work that was considered for males. Plus I liked hanging out with males at that time. I also knew that males had the advantage over women in so many areas of life. Never did I wish to be male even though I had a hard time being around groups of females and still do to this day.

Yes, it is essential to have intelligent moral understanding parents who help their children navigate through all phases of life. I thank God daily for the parents that I had. I believe that they were from the greatest generation of people as they went through the Great Depression, and WWII as children then they married and had their children, us boomers who have influenced the world for better or worse. Now my three sons and their wives are doing the same. When the family unit falls apart so does society.

Been with plastic surgery for over 20 years (in private clinics), the aesthetic side in stark contrast to the reconstructive side of this particular field. The work with emergency surgeries of all kinds, mostly in the trauma section as well as planned surgeries in the realms of the public sector gives balance.
Never EVER would I anaesthetise a traumatised boy/girl or woman/man in order for a surgeon to perform any type butcher surgeries that forever will alter their appearance. It is so abhorrent that it almost gives me red rashes.
No money in the world would justify actions like these.
People that ‘wants’ to undergo these surgeries are being influenced and groomed for a long time before they ‘decide’ to take the jump into a forever medicalised world.
They get hysterectomies too. The whole panoply of what they do--breast binding, Lupron, male doses of testosterone, even clitoral surgery--is shocking indeed. These kids start unhappy and have no future chance to adjust.

Our pre-modern Western cultures offered relatively healthy options like convents and monasteries to those not suited for marriage and family, but in the ((modern)) West such people are apparently exploited for profit. Yes. Some are under 18. He claims he gets full consent and has psychologist approval, but IMHO this means nothing because they are incompetent.

I think that few of us are willing to do this surgery. I'm a bit out of touch, however.
Some plastic surgeons are willing to do whatever people want if they can describe what they want. Literally.
