Thank you! I have doyne's honeycombe retinal dystrophy. My ( now former) retinal specialist lost his sanity and aggressively, verbally attacked me at my last meeting with him. He sat down, started reading my scans and then started going off. I was scared and utterly mortified. He informed me that one eye is wet, in dire need of vabysmo and kept ranting about conspirousy theories, his accomplishements and the miracles of these anti vfg shots. And demending, over and over to know what I thought. Ignoring me, repeatedly telling him I'm uncomfortable and can we please talk about my eyes. When I finally began to answer him( i really was afraid, the whole office standing outside the open door and his assistant staring at me, mortified also) he cut me off and stormed right out of the building.
I kept thinking, what set him off? I said nothing! I remembered a few months ago I asked him if he would mind telling me his thoughts on DMSO. Which he shot down as crack pot bullshit. While telling me about the miracles of the eye injections.
I simply said, Everyone knows Dr.s get paid by the pharma companies to prescribe meds.
He must have been stewing all that time?
He did not like that I choose not to keep doing shots as a preventative measure after he secured 780 units through the ins. Co. For which NO ONE could explain to me, what does 780 units mean?
I thank God for people such as yourself, risking so much to even research and then Give away such valuable information and hope to ordinary people.
I would use DMSO eyedrops and red lights if I were you. I am not saying that is wise, but that's what I would do if I were you. I would tolerate some stinging and probably try to use 50%, but I might have to go lower. See my eye post cited in the next to the last drop in which I summarized the neurological material. Sherri, I'm sorry you went through that. It happened to me yesterday at the retina specialist doctor but my doctor just laughed about the "conspiracy theories". He said don't believe it and I said "these are published doctors".... he changed the subject.
Gaslighting is becoming so common with a certain class of people. They don't realize, i guess, that it is simply not sustainable anymore.
It's also slightly amusing to see full grown, educated people acting like small children in denial whilst also attempting to discredit someone peacefully talking and asking questions.

Thankyou, I am aware of the need to customise the usage of DMSO, especially for fair skinned people with blue or lighter coloured eyes and also for animals. It is an ongoing learning issue, so much to catch up on and so little time.

The dosages are unclear, and you should experiment with your own tolerance to see what your dose should be for a given situation.
