I have dry fasted for 72 hours. Your body is capable of making its own water. You do not stop urinating. The energy your digestive system requires is redirected to healing your body. In only 72 hours you will notice a significant difference in your health. The book “The Phoenix Protocol”, is a good starting point

I've done "The Phoenix Protocol" and it is quite surprising how good you feel. August Dunning's Dry Fasting book by that name was featured on Unbekoming's Substack recently: https://unbekoming.substack.com/p/the-phoenix-protocol-dry-fasting

Very interesting post, thank you. I also appreciated the graphs at the end, and the hourly effects to expect.

I have fasted for 24 hours only, a dry fast, no food or water. I do this once a year on the Day of Atonement which is a day of fasting. The only preparation I do for it is to eat and drink a lot before it begins at sundown. It goes from sundown to sundown on that day. I have not had any negative experiences from it, just a little hunger midday that passes. I break the fast with just herbal tea, then a light meal, then bed.

A very inspiring book. My book club read it, and two of us embarked on intermittent fasting on the basis of it, with good results.

Even water-based fasting takes a while to get the hang of it, and see what works for your particular situation.

I tried doing it every other day but gained weight.... doing 3 days to ketosis, then eating normally the rest of the week works better for me.

I did try dry fasting once, for couple of days, but it was a miserable experience. I have a hard time staying hydrated as it is.

As always, I learn so much from you, Robert. Good luck in your own Lyme disease journey. Hope you feel better soon. We need you!

Thank you for this excellent information. Shared with a former patient who suffers from Chronic Lyme disease.

You should check out Yannick Wolfe and his scorch protocol which combines dry fasting, T3 and HGH. https://www.scorchprotocol.com/. Lots of detailed information there, including success data. He offers 1:1 consulting and also has a dry fasting community with discord

Talking with him would make an excellent podcast interview

Thank you for sharing this. I have been using CDS & DMSO (DMSO both as MMS activator and stand alone) for about 2 years. I have faith in the protocols. The dogs even get it.

I am waving at 74. I have personally dealt with SLE for about 50 years, I eat well, and I powerlift.

I tested for Norovius in 2024. I began to have gut issues, diarrhea and extreme fatigue that continues to this day. Last week I tested positive again for norovirus, even though my symptoms were upper respiratory with obnoxious cough. Do you think two months of chlorine dioxide would kill what has happened in my gut? Does norovirus stay in a person for years?

I would do CD if I were you; Mark Grenon will be definitive. He charges a nominal fee. gmark777@gmail.com

Thanks. I started CD a few days ago. Working up to average amount of drops. I’ll contact Mark.

CD has helped me but I'm still in very bad shape. I need to do this. Supposedly on blood thinners you can't fast. No idea why. Not sure I have much choice

I did a 42 day water fast with good results. At the clinic they reported a couple cases where they had stopped drinking during the water fast and died. Completely different situation than deliberately doing a dry fast. They had another patient come in so chronically fatigued that she couldnt walk 3 meters to the toilet. After a 10 day water fast she carried her luggage to the car. Water fasts longer than 7 days should be supervised. The advise given at this water fasting retreat center was to do as little exertion as possible either mental or physical. It would be interesting to have a physiologist study the effects of dry vs wet fasting.

Recently one of my dogs was found insensible, comatose (?) and I treated him with CDS up the butt using a needle-less syringe, using 10 ml doses frequently. He could walk in one hour and was completely recovered the next day. I used CDS successfully with another dog that had a mystery disease for two weeks. Completely recovered in two days. Used it for myself to cure a mystery disease during covid, by just drinking it.

I got Nitazoxanide (Alinia generic) 500 mg tablets at All Day Chemist (https://www.alldaychemist.com/). $27.50 for 90 tablets. Comes from India in about 6 weeks. No prescription required.
