Try ¼ teaspoon ground Nutmeg (never any more because it causes hallucinations, etc) with warm milk/coconut milk and ceylon cinnamon. I started sleeping after 27 years of not being able to and am off almost all my meds. It takes 3 to 4 nights to work and it gets worse those nights until bang, you sleep like a rock.
There is no evidence that psychiatric illness exists. It has all come from the imaginations of psychiatrists and they are unable to prove mental illness exists. Allopathic medicine name conditions after lists of symptoms, not what causes the condition. This is because allopathic medicine don’t investigate cause. In my experience, what causes mental illness symptoms is neurotoxic exposure. The biggest group that suffer are inefficient detoxers who become hypersensitive to metals they are exposed to. They usually have mthfr mutations or they are just exposed to too much aluminium. Removing the source of neurotoxic metals reverses the symptoms. I’ve done it many times in me and others. Removing mercury has also reversed the symptoms allopathic medicine call mental illness in people I know as well. Removing composite dental fillings that contain aluminium salts reversed the metal intoxication I was suffering immediately. Examples of metal intoxication are adhd, bipolar, dementia, Alzheimer’s, autism, anxiety and all the rest psychiatrists call mental illness. If these people were treated by toxicologists instead, there would be no mental illness. Aluminium is the biggest neurotoxic metal we are exposed to in this age we live in. Mental illness should be called neurotoxic metal illness.
I had no rem sleep for 12 years after a surgery in 2008. It was caused by a piece of surgical rod in front of my spine in the solar plexus area. It was removed in 2020 and I regained my ability to have rem sleep.
I’m on benzodiazepines but not for sleep or for anxiety. I’m on it to suppress my cns system so I don’t react to the bone cement in my spine so much and it lowered my high heart rate by 10 points. For anxiety or sleep it’s a useless drug as you mention. I’ve found taking it as a cns suppressant means I don’t need to keep increasing the dose. I’ve been on it 18months now with no need to increase it as I don’t take it for anxiety or sleep.
Indica is the sleepy pot which gives a whole body high. Sativa is the energetic pot that gets you up doing things and enjoying them, and just gives a head high. Both have their uses but I’ve never seen any violence issues in anyone taking sativa. Many prefer it as they get things done. Indica is what’s mainly used for curing cancer. The Rick Simpson Story is interesting in this regard. Biotech company Cannabis Science do experiments for curing cancer with cannabis with some interesting results. Because it promotes apoptosis, it kills cells which have failed to die when they should have. Cannabis also allegedly promotes neurogenesis, the creation of new brain cells. Removing metal from my body cured my sleep issues of no rem sleep. You don’t dream when you don’t have rem sleep and getting the ability back to dream, has been a huge benefit. When you can’t dream for years, you really miss it.
Yes, with some people it does. Paranoia is likely due to its illegal status in people in NZ anyway, where it’s outlawed. When I first started taking it as a teenager I would get paranoia if around people that didn’t also smoke or eat it. But as I got older paranoia became a thing of the past. Same with the munchies, it used to give me the munchies when young but that also became a thing of the past. While not hallucinatory, it can cause auditory hallucinations in some people, suggesting it’s more to do with the individual and not the cannabis that causes it. Otherwise it would happen to everyone.
Not alleged at all. While they pimp brain cell killing alcohol , and IQ lowering and dementia causing Fluoride.
That's the only problem with weed ( my choice) and mushrooms et. al.
🧠 Cannabis Promotes Adult Neurogenesis — This Is an Evidence-Based Claim
Multiple peer-reviewed studies have demonstrated that cannabinoids stimulate neurogenesis, particularly in the hippocampus, a region associated with memory, learning, and mood regulation.
🔬 Core Scientific Evidence
Journal: Journal of Clinical Investigation
Title: “Neurogenesis mediated by CB1 receptor activation”
Result: Activation of CB1 receptors increases the proliferation of progenitor cells in the adult hippocampus.
JCI. 2005.
Journal: Nature Medicine
Title: “Cannabinoids promote embryonic and adult hippocampus neurogenesis and produce anxiolytic and antidepressant-like effects”
Result: Chronic administration of cannabinoids (e.g. HU210) significantly increased adult neurogenesis and had beneficial behavioral outcomes.
Nature Medicine, 2005
Journal: Frontiers in Pharmacology
Title: “Cannabinoids and neurogenesis: the link to neurodegenerative disorders”
Conclusion: The endocannabinoid system modulates adult neurogenesis and may have protective effects in neurodegenerative diseases.
Front Pharmacol, 2013
🧩 Summary Judgment
Cannabis use stimulates the generation of new neurons in specific brain regions.
This effect is measurable, reproducible, and functionally beneficial in both animal models and inferred human pathways.
No credible evidence exists showing that cannabinoids destroy brain cells in normal, healthy adult brains.
Unlike alcohol — a proven neurotoxin — cannabis has been shown to preserve, restore, and even enhance brain function in therapeutic contexts.
✅ Statement of Reasoned Fact
On a balance of probabilities, based on published evidence and known mechanisms, cannabis promotes adult neurogenesis and does not cause neural damage in normal healthy brains. Claims equating cannabis to alcohol in this regard are scientifically false.
I just used the term alleged because I didn’t want someone asking me to provide links to the evidence as I don’t have the time to do other people’s homework. I know it causes neurogenesis and thank you for providing the studies. I agree with everything you’ve said. Cheers
no worries. I was just dropping some more information for the naysayers who are always lurking about trying to demonize the devils lettuce, while they slurp back the neurotoxins such as beer made with fluoridated water. ( a double whammy)
Absolutely. I am a sceptic and a litigator. I read your work, and I am quite sure that you lack the institutional BIAS that drive modern medicine. I see you as a trustworthy medical professional.
I know a lot about insomnia. I went 6.5 years without even yawning, after EBV and encephalitis. I’ll never forget where I was on the planet when I yawned for the first time, as some fragmented sleep began to return during that season. Fast forward to 2025, when I first learned of MMS (chlorine dioxide)…I had no idea that I could sleep in such deep rest and dream all night. I want to shout it to the world. Please, give it a try. I pray it might be helpful for some of you.
Please investigate the use of cultured probiotics as sleep aids. Dr William Davis claims that l. Reuteri cultured as a yogurt solved his long term insomnia. Also l. Casei shirota cultured as yogurt and l. Gasseri cultured and combined have induced sleep for me.
The gut controls the brain. I have found cultured probiotics to not only cure SIBO but also mood, digestion and sleep. Easy to make. See the YouTube videos from Dr Davis and his website and books.
I have just ordered his capsules of this strain to use and make his “yogurt”. Hopeful. Reading Dr Davis’s book Wheat Belly changed my life and started my journey into natural health without big PHARMA. My daughter was an Adele Davis baby 53 years ago. I’ve always tried to eat healthy but have made many mistakes along the way. 78 this year. No arthritis. I only take a compounded thyroid med from my functional med doc. She runs full thyroid panels as opposed to conventional docs who normally won’t. Just hand out Synthroid which is so often totally useless. A good long interview with Dr Davis on I.Reuteri on YouTube I recently watched.
Men are taking progesterone, but not for sleep. Progesterone lowers estrogen levels. There is excessive estrogen in our atmosphere, our synthetic clothing, and plastics. Men’s, and women’s, estrogen levels are far too high, in many cases, and progesterone can lower those levels to normal levels.
Personally speaking, I get bio identical hormone pellets (estradiol and testosterone) every three months. I take 300 to 400 mg of bio identical progesterone each evening. I was once on five prescription sleep medications, and I didn’t sleep, sometimes at all
I did not know that he lost his head , about 2 years ago . you say "common knowledge" , I follow his articles , and have for decades . I did not notice this . or hear this until just now from you . Can you elaborate ? where was this common knowledge from ? with all due respect .
The commentary was extensive, but you will have to search yourself. Lots of drama, he fired his top staff, and ever since, errors have crept into his work. I ghosted him.
I am surprised that no one is mentioning the beneficial effects of tai chi for sleep! I have learned 6 short very benificial tai chi moves to do before falling asleep as I lay in bed( and there are others as well) which cause me to go right to sleep and sleep like a baby! Maybe I will get up once or twice to go to the bathroom which I keep dark so the light will not wake me up fully but then I go right back to sleep! No drugs! Just your bodies natural response to the relaxation created by the tai chi of your nervous system!
Why the heck do you need toxic drugs for anything? If you do, it is because you are poisoned or toxic and believe you need more toxic stuff because that is all your silly doctors know.
To add more poisons to the mix calling it a cure.
It is natural and normal for a person to sleep 1/3 of their lives. If you cannot get the sleep you require, drugs and tonics are not the answer. Either stop further poisonings and let your body have a chance to clear and recycle back to its origins.
Or dig into your fleeting mind...that is the never ending flow of thoughts that you do not process as even being there since you are mentally asleep. Slow them down by concentrating on your breathing only...the actual process of breathing...focus on that for as long as you can.
I have been on melatonin for 20 years , starting at 3 mg. and progressing to 10 mg. for many years. and then read doris Loh. a researcher, and now take high dose melatonin , and sleep well. and thru the night , she works with Russell Reiter ,another researcher , both on utube .
I think I've solved my sleep issues that I have had for decades. Instead of taking a few mg of melatonin I now take 8-10 mg. And I also take Doxylamine Succinate (an anti-histamine). I used to not be able to take more than half a tablet through the night. Though lately I've been taking a whole tablet bits at a time.
I'm 68 without any eye issues and don't need glasses except for tiny print. But I take lutein capsules or powder daily and astaxanthin every other day.
Doxylamine Succinate is an anticholinergic with a longer half life than the more common Diphenhydramine. Because both block the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine, they can affect learning and cause memory issues. Your lack of tolerance was likely due to the persistent effects the following day of the dose.
Markus, chronic use for either of these antihistamines is not recommended.
Thanks for the info. I also regularly take various brain supplements Phosphaticholine and a 500 mg choline supplement. Those along with eating eggs regularly and the much, much better sleep seem help counteract the negatives. At least for now.
When you rause 8 children, going to sleep becomes mechanical. You flip the switch and rest while you can, then you bounce off of a few walls to change a diaper, help someone to the potty or bring a baby to Momma. As my Father would say, "There's plenty of time to sleep when you're dead". Sleep is over rated when we're young and makes you soft when you age. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. We heal while we sleep so sleep is clearly important. If someone can't sleep, they may benefit from micro dosing of properly dried Amanita Muscaria (AM) which is legal in 49 states. Only in Louisiana is AM illegal. I've read that AM can cure any addiction for example. The same mushroom depicted in Alice Ign Wonderland, gifts from God, can cure bad habbits. For me, sleep is just a decision, awake one moment, asleep at will. When you are building a large family while working independently, there are not enough hours in a day. All your children remember is you were not there. They forget it was to provide children with a better upbringing than they had where possible. At bed time, Flip the switch. Choose to sleep.

The problem is, our population is being poisoned with a chemical that calcifies the pineal gland, that which is important for sleep. Yet I never, ever see doctors talking about it.
